The story of Barbara Payton is not well known. This eye-opening book by John O'Dowd and John Lee Payton reveals the tragic life of a would-be star.

Tragic life of someone who could have had it all. I felt sad reading this book & found out things about some movie stars that shocked me, like Bob Hope & Franchot Tone. Interesting read.
