All Music Guide - Stephen Thomas Erlewine
This disc is part of RCA's Double Features series, which reissued all of Elvis' soundtracks as CD two-fers. In the case of this disc, no less than three soundtracks -- Kissin' Cousins, Clambake and Stay Away -- are featured on the same disc. Most of the music on this disc is decidedly below par, with only a couple of cuts, such as "Clambake," ranking among his best, but for Elvis collectors, this is an ideal way to acquire this music on CD.
