More About This Book

Overview

Caro Lamont-pet therapist-and her cousin Melinda Langston-owner of The Bow Wow Boutique-pamper the kitties and pooches of Laguna Beach's elites. Unfortunately, their human clients keep turning up dead.

"We were at an art exhibition at The Montage," I told the detective, "and Kitty asked me to take her cats home because something had come up. Something urgent. It seemed strange, but then the whole evening was strange with dogs and cats. Ones that paint, I mean. And Kitty would never leave her cats, but she did, so it must have been really urgent . . ."

Detective Judd Malone looked past me. "Are those the cats?"

I nodded.

"What kind are they? They're huge."

"They're Bengal cats. Bengals are a hybrid. A cross between a domestic cat and an Asian Leopard Cat. It's a relatively new breed. Most have . . ." Malone's face said TMI. Fair enough, more info than he'd been looking for.

"I imagine you know I'm here about Ms. Bardot?" Malone was suddenly all business.

"Yes." I held my breath and hoped for good news.

"Caro." He paused. "She didn't make it."

"She-" I felt my throat close, and I swallowed hard trying to get control of my emotions. "Too many injuries?" I finally asked. Whatever her emergency had been, it had seemed to upset her. She'd been shaken, and Kitty was never shaken. I remembered her voice as she'd asked me to take care of Tobey and Minou and get them home. The cats. What would happen to the cats now? "Was she driving too fast?"

"Not exactly." Malone's voice was serious and grim. "We won't know until we have a lot more information from the crime lab. It's too soon to tell, but it may have been a case of road rage. Kitty Bardot was shot."

    Highly recommended- delightful and fun

This is the third in a series of mysteries solved by two Animal lovers who live in the town of animal lovers. The plot is always curious and intriguing and the scenes are totally imaginable. Two cousins are competitive in many ways leading to additional fun. These books are pure delight and easy to read. I wish they were longer because they read so quickly. The truth is I can't put it down until I see what come next. Really entertainment at its best.

Kitty Kitty Bang Bang by Sparkle Abbey 4 STARS Kitty Kitty Ban

Kitty Kitty Bang Bang by Sparkle Abbey
    4 STARS

Kitty Kitty Bang Bang is book three in the Pampered Pets Mystery.

Caro Lamont—pet therapist—and her cousin Melinda Langston—owner of The Bow Wow Boutique
pamper the kitties and pooches of Laguna Beach’s elites. Unfortunately, their human clients keep turning up dead.

The stories have been about one cousin then the next one is the other cousin so far.
Caro Lamont neighbor and friend Kitty Bardot asked her to take her cats Tobey and Minou home after their art showing a emergency had come up. Kitty's cats are painters they also are Bengal cats.

Caro on her way home see's a car wreck and she realizes its Kitty's car. She gets Sam to stop. As she hurries up to the car police detective Judd Malone stops her and then tells her to go home. Do not take the cats in Kitty's house and to stay out of her house.

Later Malone stops by Caro's house to tell her that she was shot and did not make it. To stay out of it. Caro got into trouble while she solved one murder of her human clients.

The next day while she is feeding Kitty's cats thier is a knock on the door. Kitty long lost sister has come to see her. They were seperated in foster care. April Mae Wooben has searched for 15 years and she finally finds her too late.

This is a clean read. I did not guess who the murder was. Thier is lots of action, drama and so much humor.
Caro and Melinda are fueding over a ugly pin that thier grandma left in her will to her favorite granddaughter. They both think it is them. They go to a lot of trouble to steal it back and forth between each other. Everyone around them know it too.
I have enjoyed reading the Pampered Pets Mysteries and will look forward to the next one. If you like humor, mysteries and animals you will love this series.
I was given this ebook to read and asked to give honest review of the book by Netgalley.

You know you have a fun book when all of a sudden you¿re laughin

You know you have a fun book when all of a sudden you’re laughing out loud on the subway. This was both an entertaining and engaging read that I devoured as fast as I could. I enjoyed the way the mystery played out for all parties and I especially enjoyed April Mae June (you gotta love a person with this name). With a likable and quirky cast of characters and nice banter, this was one of the best book in this delightfully charming series.

"Kitty Kitty Bang Bang"  is a delightful and humorous

"Kitty Kitty Bang Bang"  is a delightful and humorous tale set in ritzy Laguna Beach where all the elite own kitties, pooches or both.
In this story the heroine Caro Lamont, a pet therapist, has been asked by her neighbour Kitty Bardot if she'll take home her two hybrid
Bengal cats because she has urgent business. What Caro doesn't expect is that Kitty will be killed and that she will become embroiled
in her mysterious death. Into this baffling case is plunged a long lost sister who's endowed with a touch of larceny as well as Tobey and
Minou, Kitty's artistic cats. In this world of the rich and famous, the arrogant and proud, Caro's investigation may not only jeopardize her
life , but Kitty's sister's as well, much to the consternation of Detective Judd Malone.
And if the murder mystery wasn't enough to titillate the reader's interest, Sparkle Abbey has added a feud between Caro and her cousin
Melinda Langston, the owner of the Bow Wow Boutique over the ownership of an antique brooch that both want.
I loved the characters whose personalities come alive in the pages of this story; the dedicated and determined Caro Lamont who finds
herself in a clash of wills with the stern police detective Judd Malone, the good-natured, eccentric April-Mae-You-Can-Call-Me June,
the devious Melinda, and the calm and caring Sam Gallanos. I was captivated by the chemistry between Caro and Malone while she
still seems enamoured by the handsome Sam Gallanos; both romances worth watching. This charming tale with its multiple layers of
cats and dogs, its humorous pokes at the lifestyle of Laguna Beaches' elite has an unexpected ending and I can't wait to read another
in the series. I highly recommend it

    A Fun and Lighthearted Mystery

In this installment of the series Caro Lamont the Pet Therapist is at an Art show in Laguna Beach when she is asked by Kitty Bardot to attend her famous painting Bengal kitties as she suddenly leaves the show. Kitty doesn't make it back and the mystery ensues leaving Caro with the unusual cats until Kitty's estranged sister from Missouri shows up (She made me laugh out loud). Detective Judd Malone is again involved with Caro in an investigation and Caro helps solve the crime. The third book in the Pampered Pet Mystery series continues the feud between cousins Mel Langston and Caro over grandma Tillie's brooch.

The author team of Sparkle Abbey have done it again in this uniquely written mystery series. Kitty Kitty Bang Bang written with Caro Lamont in the lead is written by Marylee Woods half the writing team. Anita Carter writes the books when Mel Langston is in the lead. Only humans die in this mystery series no pampered pets are every hurt. It's a fun and lighthearted read with a good mystery to boot.
    It's a must read...

    Keep them coming Sparkle Abbey!
