Great Introduction to Drums Kits & Beginning Drumming (Visually)

I have several drum books, and this is the book I would give or purchase for the beginner drummer that knows nothing about drums, drum hardware, maintenance, tuning, misc. equipment, etc. Being a visual person, this book excelled beyond others due to its photography. Very well done.

Only one small complaint. At times, it seemed the author was selling his and friends branded equipment. Difficult to criticize strongly since the equipment may very well be his preference. The photography may also explain the $5 bump over competing books that cannot compare visually.
