Knight Errant (Knights of Bretonnia Series)

( 2 )

Overview

The noble knights of Bretonnia are bound by duty and honour to fight for their king, and defend their lands from invaders. When the Lord of Bastonne falls ill, his two sons Calard and Bertelis are plunged into conflict as suppressed rivalries surface. more from this reviewer

    Off to a good start...

I've been waiting for a Bretonnia novel to come out for awhile (since I started playing the army on the tabletop!) and I was happy to see that there was a series starting for them. Knight Errant did not disappoint me, however it didn't impress me either. The storyline and characters were very well thought out and fit into the Bretonnian storyline. In actuality I would like to give this book 3 and 1/2 stars; I didn't have any complaints with the book. I would have liked to see more about Bretonnian culture, politics, and religion. Knight Errant scratches the surface on all of these, though and is a good read for any Warhammer or fantasy fan. Looking forward the the next installment.

    Outstanding book

This book kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time I read it. It had suspense, romance, mystery, lots of imagery, and much more. Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. It is by far one of the best books I have ever read.
