    A must for Romance reader

This book made me a romance reader, before I would only read SF, horror, etc. 'Knight of a Trillion Stars was my very first romance book. The fantasy aspect of the story appealed to me at first. I was hooked by page ten. It was funny and very very sexy, without being vulgar. Both main characters are likeable, as is the supporting characters. My favorite is Tran. It is not overlong, and I read it in a few hours. I would recommend this book to everyone.

Worth reading twice if not more!

I read this book many years ago and it was just as good now as it was then. Loved the humor, adventure and characters. I can definitely see myself reading this for a third time in the near future. I love the way Dara Joy writes.

One of my favorite books of all time!

I read quite a bit, and had read this book years ago. It was the first one I looked for after getting my nook and I think it is one of my favorite books of all time! Lorgin is a very endearing hero! I love that it has the settings of different worlds and species of aliens. I found it to be a great read the first time and I STILL do! I would highly recommend this book!

    Enjoyed the whole series.

Not like you have to get all three books but they are much better if you read them all.

    Excellent, for a romance...

I should probably mention that the romance novel genre has always been a kind of dirty word or joke to me and many people I have grown up around. Can I even begin to compare any romance novel to a novel by Michael Crichton, a famous science-thriller writer (and my favourite author)? No. Not at all. I never walk into a roamce novel with high expectations of anything beyond smoldering eyes and the overuse of the word "saunter". That being said, I continue to find myself reading them (and secretly enjoying them) anyway. :D

I really liked this book. I felt like the writing was conversational and eventhough it was rather primitive (please take into context, though, that I am also accustomed to reading - and enjoying - books that force me to also read the dictionary), it didn't distract from the story or deter me from finishing the book. I found the characters rather compelling and interesting - their interaction and emotions believeable - and the romance was exceptionally graphic and steamy, even for a romance novel! (yum!) The plot was a little obvious and cliché, but again, this is a romance novel - it is a bit expected. I was dissapointed with the action in the book, but it did flow at a rather nice pace, regardless. I did not find myself getting bored or skipping paragraphs - it held my attention pretty well. (and I must admit that it definitely beats a Nora Roberts novel hands-down any day!)

I thought it had an appropriate and satisfying ending, and (surprise, surprise) I am actually looking forward to reading the rest of the books in the series. I would recommend this book to both romance lovers and closet romance lovers, like me. :D

    For Fans of Train Wrecks

Way too easy to mock this is. This cheesy paranormal romance features an alien, a "Knight of the Charl" complete with light saber, who pops into the life of an aspiring science-fiction writer, Deana Jones. (Probably not a good sign when the book's protagonist has a name so reminiscent of the author.) So, tell me. You find a strange man in your house and you're alone. Do you: a) Scream and run out of the house to your car. b) Grab the phone and call the police. c) Check out how hot he is with his gold hair and lavender eyes, exchange (non)witty banter, and when he insists over your objections he's going with you on your vacation for your "protection" book him a seat on the plane then take him shopping for a new wardrobe--despite the fact you were just laid off and have no new job lined up. Guess which our heroine chooses? Given the title, that it was written a decade later, and the fish-out-of-water scenario I suspect this was a science-fiction riff off "A Knight in Shining Armor", but it has none of the charm with which Deveraux invested her story and hero. Oh, and the controlling alpha-jerk hero calls the heroine "Little Fire." For her red hair donchaknow. I lasted 44 pages. That's about an hour of my life I'm not getting back, and I resent every minute. A "matrix of destiny romance" so I suppose this is a series. *shudder*

    This is a great book!

If you like romantic/sci-fi, you will love this book. There is romance, intreague, and magic all in one book. You will come across wizards, familiars, and a confused girl who falls in love. It has everything to take you away from the world as it is and put you in a world of your own.

Knight of a Trillion Stars provides a million laughs

Dara Joy is among my favorite romance novelists, and this book stands among her best. It offers a strong, stunning hero, a delightful, independent heroine, and a story that takes us across the universe -- and makes us laugh in the process.

    A BRILLANT BOOK!

This awesome book is funny, hillarious, fantastic, an original, and very imaginative. I really loved the characters Lorgin and Deana. Their experiences both on Earth and Aviara were awesome. I thought this book was so good I recommended it to other people. It definetly got me interested in other futuristic books of this sort. I have also bought the other ones in the series and can't wait until more come out.

An out of this world experience

This book was fantastic! It gives you hope that there's someone out there for everyone, even if he does happen to be an extremely good-looking, blond-haired giant with lavender eyes! If you want to read a book that will keep you laughing and make you cry at the same time, read this one.

    Must Read!!!!!!

I found this book, the first in the Matrix Destiny series an absolute plus. Very romantic, thrilling, suspenseful. All the things that make up a great romance novel. Not to mention the most handsomest man alive and a heroine that you can relate to.
