OK. FIRST, I AM A HUGE LORA LEIGH FAN, BUT WHEN I PAY $7.12 FOR A 78 PAGE BOOK..IT KINDA TICKS ME OFF! SHAME ON YOU BARNES AND NOBLE!!! THIS IS EXACTLY WHY SOMETIMES I WISH THAT I HAD GONE WITH THE KINDLE...U GET A PAGE COUNT BEFORE U BUY! LORA LEIGH DIDN'T DISAPPOINT WITH THE STORY....BUT THE PRICE IS PLAIN AND SIMPLE HIGHWAY ROBBERY!

Of course, when I bought it, I didn't know how short it was. I bought it because of the author, because I love vampire stories and because I read an excerpt from it. I enjoyed the story, but I agree that it was too short for the price charged. I don't know why there is such an outrageous price for this one story. Later I found out it is part of an Anthology entitled Manaconda. The Kindle price is $7.12 as well for the ebook. Per Amazon's website the print book contains 220 pages. New, the print book is $12.99. It can also be purchased used.

I enjoy reading Lora Leigh's book. As a matter of fact I think I have all of her books. But when I was searching for this? Gosh! $7... for 78 pages? Oh no! How can you buy something this expensive when I can buy Harlequin books books for $3...and have way more story written. Shame on B&N.

I love Lora Leigh. She has this insight to male sexuality and express it with such bare, straight forward, raw emotion that you can't help but be stunned & excited. Her books aren't just erotic they are primal sexual energy and high octane drama. This story left me flat though. It was just a little too strange for me but I'm still a fan.
