Overview

The Knights of Dreamland is a story for children in the age group 7+. It is a story about overcoming fear, using compassion, and forgiveness without any religious or moralistic opinions.

One evening Angelina Thomas is in her bedroom. The shadows in her room seem very real and cause her to be afraid. Her mother tries to comfort her, but Angelina is still afraid. Suddenly, she hears a strange noise and a through her wall emerges a white unicorn and on its back, a Knight. The Knight is Sir Roderick, he is a clumsy rather comic character but he is noble and courageous, a sort of old fashioned knight. Cornucopia the unicorn is a magical character that can talk; she is intelligent and protective of Sir Roderick.

Cornucopia explains that Sir Roderick is a Knight of Dreamland and that his job is to protect children from the KNIGHTMARES that try to frighten them in their dreams. The Knightmares are former Knights of Dreamland and their unicorns who have been captured by THE BLACK KNIGHT and placed under his dark spell. The Knightmares frighten children in their dreams, and The Black Knight rules the world of Knightmares.

Sir Roderick, Cornucopia, and Angelina set out on an adventure to try to release their friends who have been captured by the Black Knight. Their adventures take them on a magical journey where they encounter strange beasts and magical beings.

Angelina finds out that only courage and compassion can protect her from the Knightmares. She also learns that by using fear against her enemies the spell can be broken and the Knightmares turn back into their former selves.

This particular story ends with a battle between Sir Roderick and the Black Knight. Their friends are released from the evil spell, and the Black Knight is temporarily incapacitated.

This story is the first in a series of adventures.

    It was okay...

It had a nice storyline, but the way it was not written as well as I'd like. There were a few, hard to overlook grammaticlal errors, but the main problem was that it was told mainly about the little girl and should be written to adapt the the way she would see the world, third person or not.

Best book ever. Best book ever

This book has nightmares and good dreams. It is full of exitment and horrer. But that is a good thing though because thats what makes it so good. So if you have just started this great book and you think its boring read it anyways and you'll agree with what i'm saying right now. This book is the best.

A short book but filled with adventure.....

The knighs of dreamland didn't sound good to me at first. I read what it was about and decided to give it a try and it was free. I read on and it got interesting when the knight and the unicorn came in her room. After in dreamland it got adventue into the spine and pages of this book. The dark knight seem like a character that needed something to him. It was short and i wanted more to this then she meet the knight went to dreamland and saved dreamland from nightmares. He should make this book in a seires and they need the girs help with differebt things in dreamland. Other than the other things i wrote i lovef this bok other wise. Peace , maddie lotz is out!
