"Adventure-packed, passion-filled romance...delivers just what readers want."--Romantic Times Book Review

The Warrior Maids of Rivenloch...Damsels in shining armor...riding to the rescue! Deirdre, Helena, and Miriel, three kick-arse Scots wenches known as The Warrior Maids of Rivenloch, aren’t about to become any man’s chattel, until they meet heroes who are strong enough to tame their wild ways and worthy enough to win their wayward hearts.

KNIGHT'S PRIZE: Book 3

Miriel of Rivenloch may not have the killer instincts of her older sisters, but she’s keeping a dangerous secret. She knows more than she’s letting on about the mysterious Shadow, the forest outlaw who robs from the rich and gives to the poor. And when devil-may-care mercenary Sir Rand la Nuit, hot on the trail of The Shadow, claims to be in love with Miriel, she knows he’s hiding something, too. It’s a battle of wits as they race to uncover each other’s secrets before their make-believe romance takes on a life of its own.

Meet the Author

When she's not writing swashbuckling historical romances and playing medieval matchmaker, bestselling author Glynnis Campbell (also writing as Sarah McKerrigan and Kira Morgan) is a cartoon voice, the wife of a rock star, and the mother of two young adults. She's been a ballerina, a typographer, a film composer, a piano player, a singer in an all-girl rock band, and a voice in those violent video games you won't let your kids play. She does her best writing on cruise ships, in Scottish castles, on her husband's tour bus, and at home in her sunny southern California garden. Glynnis loves transporting readers to a place where the bold heroes have endearing flaws, the women are stronger than they look, the land is lush and untamed, and chivalry is far from dead!

From Glynnis...

I love writing "stories to keep you up all night"!

FASTEN YOUR SEATBELTS - THIS IS A BUMPY RIDE!!! What a great end to the trilogy, or is it? Has the author left it opened to have the offspring of the Warrior Maids of Riverloch have stories? The liked this one as much as I liked book 2. Please read in order to fully appreciate all the stories of the sister's, and also read Shipwreck too, which is the prequel. I love the writings of Ms. Campbell and how she makes you feel your experiencing what our H/h do. The lovemaking is more descriptive in this story, but no where near erotic type, just full of passion and love and of course desire. I won't go into the premise of the story, but the identity of The Shadow will have you guessing. I did narrow it down to 2 people, but then the author would make you think you had it all wrong. The ending is clever and I wished there was an Epilogue, but there are no cliffhangers. I just didn't want to let these amazing character's go. This story has many twists, a lot of passion and romance and of course suspense. (ljb)
