    Fair warning

This kit is very attractive and fun, but nearly identical to the book 'Knitting Pretty' with the exception of a couple of patterns. I was disappointed that the kit and book weren't clearly linked in the outside description (as the package was wrapped in plastic) and that I had unknowingly purchased a product that was nearly identical to one I already owned. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing a product from this publisher or author in the future unless I can get a very good look at it to establish that it is different from previously released products.

Great for beginners and knitters with some experience too!

This kit is great! It has beautiful cards with photos of finished projects and the easy to follow instructions inside. I like the portability of just carrying the card for the project I am working on. The accompanying book of knitting instructions and terms is a great resource as well.

    sweet little package

Just learned to knit by Cassandra Case's 'A Stitch of One's Own.' Did not have any completed projects. I picked up the Knit Knack Kit because the projects were perfect--small finished product, practical use, creative & cute, not too many supplies required. I don't know how the book goes if one is trying to learn straight from the kit, but with very little prior experience, I was able to follow the directions just fine. Format of cards is great--easy step-by-step, handy page references for required techniques for each project, beautiful photos! I don't know about the quality of the included supplies, because I haven't been knitting long, but they were adequate for me. I fell in love with the kit. Every time I open it, it's like an adventure. And Kris Percival's writing voice is clear and friendly. For me, the kit is fantastic. I'm delighted to have it.

    A poor beginners kit

Although the included patterns are great and I would make quite a few of them, the other items in the kit are bad. The included knitting needles are one of the smallest sizes of circular needles and it is very difficult to manage them. If you don't already know how to knit, the instructions is this book are NOT clear and the hand diagrams are very small.

    this is an awsome kit

I just bought the knit knack kit today. I already know how to knit. Its made for all levels for knitting. I was kind of bumed with cozy crochet kit they include yarn. With this kit there no yarn included. The patterns are easy to understand. I like the like instuction booklet that came with it. its nice to include the knitting needles and yarn needle and rings to with them too.

    awesome for beginners

I loved this kit. I am 16 and I just started to knit. This helped me learn simple stitches and the kit includes project ideas with easy to follow instructions. Whenever I had a question I consulted the book that came with the kit. I would recommend this to beginning knitters of any age.
