Great instructional guide for the beginner and the advanced

This book is full of easy to follow instructions and hints regarding knitting. I found it a very useful aid in learning how to knit better. It is written and arranged to be helpful to not only the beginner, but the more advanced knitter trying new techniques. A must have for any knitting library.

    Better than I thought

This book is very helpful. I mean VERY HELPFUL. I had 4 knitting books together, this was one of them. Now every time I have a question, I go to this book. It alway has the answer for me. It even has the answers of questions I didn't even know I should ask. I AVOIDED many mistakes. That's how helpful it was. I thought I was an pretty advanced knitter until I read this book. You should have this book before having fancy books with colorful pictures. Like take a plate first before having your meal.

    Fantastic for new knitters!

I picked this up at my local B&N. I have crocheted for 43 years and have tried to learn to knit from time to time. This book had me knitting with in an hour!

    Not recommended for IPAD

Even though it says it's ipad compatable, the B&N tech department exhausted it's bag of tricks to get this loaded on my ipad - (I have a iPad, version 1). It downloaded to my Nook just fine, but wouldn't show up in my Nook App on my iPad. B&N did offer to refund, and I'll probably get a hard copy of this book since it didn't do much for me on the Nook.

    Not too bad

Book is helpful for beginners like myself, but do not spend the extra money for the inhanced book. I could only find one video about increasing and decreasing and you can find that info on youtube. Other than that its very helpful

    In-Page Video is Priceless

Whether you are a beginner knitter or an experienced knitter that would like to have a handy reference book to carry, this ebook is well worth the price. You can read the book and the video does an excellent job of bringing the words to life. When it is sometimes difficult to visualize the instruction in your head, video helps. The author uses common knitter terminology that is easy to understand and/or is explained in english and not "knitter-ease". I would recommend it.
