Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

“At last, a new book from the amazing Mel, a knitting goddess. She continues to inspire me with her stylish, sexy, and fashionable designs. I cannot wait to check my gauge and cast on.”  —Tracy Ullman on Knitting Everyday Finery

“Mel has created a quietly passionate collection of knits which will pique the curiosity of any knitter, and crosses many skill levels. My fingers itched to knit up many of these lovely, utilitarian designs. I cannot wait to cast on the Lulu scarf!”  —Annie Modesitt, knitting designer and author, 1,000 Fabulous Knit Hats on Knitting Everyday Finery

“I have been a fan of Mel Clark for years and her new book . . . doesn't disappoint. In [Knitting] Everyday Finery you will find thoughtfully designed garments and accessories that take 'finery' to a new level of beautiful and elegant practicality.”  —Susan B. Anderson, author, Itty Bitty Hats, Itty Bitty Toys and Spud and Chloe at the Farm

"[The] patterns are projects for every day, with a unique flair for that special day. ... What will you knit first? You never know when [you'll] need a baby gift." —Paula Moliver, The Examiner
