I LOVED this book! These aren't the usual stars of the knitting world (the 'knitterati') - these are writers who can, in a few pages, cause you to nod in agreement, shout hallelujah, weep in shared sorrow, want to reach out and take a hand right through the pages. There are successful knitters, wannabe knitters and utter failures - but it was a pleasure to meet each and every one. Each essay is a few pages - short enough for a break at work or to read before falling asleep. There are also six patterns (pictures on Ravelry) - including a sweater for one very special Chihuahua.
