Excellent Overview of Edged Weapons from All Time Periods and Cultures

This is an excellent general reference and introductory text on edged weapons. Both reconstructions and archeological finds are illustrated in color photographs, as is typical of DK books. The coverage is very comprehensive in both timeframe and culture with all major types of swords illustrated. This book is an excellent companion to the DK book Gun. It is well worth the cost and highly recommended.
