Highly Recommended: If you have struggled in your walk of faith, wondering 'where is God', 'why hasn't He answered you', read this book.

Too often as Christians we find ourselves searching for answers when our faith wavers and God appears to be so far away. We go to church only to find that they are so busy with programs and looking for people to work them that you can't get the answers you are searching for. Even God himself can't reach people because His servants are too busy doing other things. This book has really been an inspiration to me. It has given me insights that I never thought about even reading the word of God. This book draws out and clarifies many of the events and Godly lessons that God taught the Israelite people. Many of which applies to us today. Many Christians struggle with faith because they don't know God and His character. We often think of Him as a God who merely performs miracles but we fail to know Him. This book will help you to get to know the character and person He truely is and once you gain that knowledge your faith will grow and become firm even in the face of difficult times and all your questions will be answered. If you are and have struggled in your faith, this book is for you. It can also be a tool for teaching others.

Knowing God by Name Explains History of Religions

This book has been a great resource to explain the history of names given to God. It's timeline of events paints a clearer picture of how all of these names relate to one another. I think that it would be a wonderful addition to a religious library. It is easy for the lay person to read while encouraging interest into specific events that brought about those names.
