Overview

He looked like the kind of man even my mother would call smokin' hot. Eventually, she did. He felt like the kind of man who didn't just break the rules, but made new ones. He led and it was follow or get out of the way.

Why did a billionaire with a voice like liquid silk and a face like a bad angel take a second look at a girl in no-name jeans, with a fifteen-dollar haircut and a beat up car she calls her "Eep" because the 'J' fell off long ago?

I didn't want to know why and when I thought I knew I didn't want to admit it. By the time I found his secret, it was already too late. His passion had me hooked like a drug. It didn't hurt that he pulled the people I love the most out of harm's way. A girl can get used to a knight in shining armor even when the armor has some very large dents in it.

This is part one of a series. Part 2 of the Year of the Billionaire is "Taking His Risk" and is available now on Kindle. Part 3 of Year of the Billionaire is "Keeping His Promise" and is also available on Amazon. This is an adult romance intended only for readers over 18 who enjoy five-chili hot reads. Although this book is part of a trilogy, it can be read as a stand-alone work with a happy for now ending.

Meet the Author

The 'C' in my name stands for Cheyenne. Although you wouldn't know it by looking at me, I have a great grandparent who was a member of that Native American Tribe. Her people once lived in the very southeastern corner of Montana where I now make my home. I didn't always live in such a wide open space, though. I grew up in New York City. Much as I love the city and admire what it takes to live there, I met a kindred spirit at Columbia University and together, we found a way to take our lives from the Big Apple to the Big Sky. We haven't regretted a moment.

We've got a smallish ranch where we raise cattle and keep a menagerie of other animals, too. Once or twice a year, we hire a 'ranch sitter' and take an urban vacation somewhere hitting all the restaurants, plays, museums and musical performances we can squeeze in. Then it's back to the wide open.

A writer finds creativity flourishes in solitude. My fantasy world is full of characters and stories lined up and waiting for me to bring them to life. I hope you will enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them.

The girl kind of had no own sense of self preservation and the guy made me suspicious the entire time. He was too controlling and possessive and seemed like he would turn out to be a man who will beat her especially since he has bad mood swing. I won't get the others. I don't feel these characters are worth pursuing. Also the plot escalated too quickly and was not believable. But to the author, don't stop. I will try other books of yours because you can only get better and better.

This book was very hard to read. No substance, no character development and no details.

There's no substance to this story. Its just lots of sex and a mysterious guy. I suppose the mystery would unravel in the next book. All in all; its a free teaser designed to sell the next book. The nothing in this story that would make me wanna buy the next book. In fact, I had to skim through to the end. It really is as bad as the reviews say it is!

I am so glad it was free. It was not written well at all, no real character development, immature. I will not read the rest of the series.

I am usually very forgiving for a free read, but this time not so much. Poorly written with unbelievable plot line and twists. Dont waste your time on this one.

Or novella as this is the first part of a contemporary erotic romance between a 20-something girl next door and a billionaire community theater actor. Sparks fly between them as the stage manager Raina and lead actor Tristan share lines and hot sex. Graphic and spicy and a few secrets make it suspenseful as well. And surprisingly, hazel eyes...

I was reading...only a quarter through. I just had to say that melon does not describe a color. Is it honey dew, cantaloupe, or watermelon? yes it does make a difference. Not a great book. But not so poorly written that I can't finish the last 80 of 97 pp, I think.

The story is very good. I love the way they love each other even if they don't so it. There is just one thing I had a little problem with was the waythe guy got so pasasive with the girl. But I can not wait to read the rest of the books. So to the writer good job. L.J.B.

Middle class  girl, college grad, has one of those instantaneous attractions to a slightly older, filthy rich,  physically all inclusive alpha. He's an enigma, cold and vague yet physically warm, demanding yet prohibiting, at times near juridical in his controlling.   All are part of his manipulative coping mechanisms, which contribute to the story line, but his number 1 is, extraordinary sex.  Raina is hormonaly drawn in, whereas her voice of reason continually churns up the internal struggle.   Tristan is showing signs of breaking those manipulative walls as Raina and her family are physically compromised.  A really good read, sexy, romantic, and although verbiage of FSOG, if you think of any lusty in love coupe, they will do just about anything for that affirmation they assume is love.  I think the next books are going to take it in many emotional directs.

What's next! This short book had every thing... Love, sex, family, sex and more sex. Well written with some lovable characters. I wanted the book to go on a lot longer. Not for children.
