Meet the Author

About the Author...

Mark Stephen Taylor is the award-winning author of Hiking the Trail of Truth: Knowing God Through His Creation, which offers very profound insights into the attributes of God and our personal relationship with Him through the wonders of creation. Mr. Taylor is a former California Law Enforcement Officer, educated in criminal psychology and geology, and is currently a Biblical teacher and counselor.

He has spent many years hiking the high mountains and diverse trails of California-allowing nature to become his teacher. He has also explored the vast deserts of the southwest and has dwelt among the Native American people. The writing style he has developed through his accumulated knowledge and varied life experiences is quite unique, in that it is intensely honest-a rare attribute, considering our world today. This latest work bears witness to a spiritual enlightenment that is most insightful-for sure an eye-opening account.

Mr. Taylor has written several books, both fictional and non-fictional works, and it is obvious that he is a teacher by nature. This characteristic allows us to learn something of value from any of his writings. He boldly challenges the philosophies of the world as he takes pen in hand and offers us instead some very profound truths to contemplate, which at times require much depth of thought-indeed a good thing for us! He pulls no punches. He is a 'voice crying from the wilderness', and it is our forgathered opinion that you would be wise to take notice.

Sincerely, The HTTOT Staff
