The yellow spread is Kukiko, whose signature trait, expressed by an accompanying haiku, is joy, and the blue spread introduces Oki, who embodies creativity. It's a high-style book with an affordable price designed to provide hours of absorbing creativity and a dash of cultural flair.

Meet the Author

Jessica was born on a spring day in 1978 in a small French town. When she was very young she had strange buddies that were always with her: felt pens, colored pencils, brushes and paint. After repainting all the walls in her house, her parents understood that it was time for her to express her "talent" at an art school. That's how she arrived at the famous École Boulle in Paris where she learned furniture design. Following several years spent in various agencies of architecture, she decided to give up squares, rulers, and compasses and put her imagination on paper. She's currently drawing for magazines and children's books in France and abroad. The author lives in Paris, France.
