Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Karen McCoy
This is the second book in the "Korgi" series, centering on Ivy, a young Mollie who can fly, and Sprout, her Korgi companion with emerging magical powers. When some of the Mollies' wings start to disappear, Ivy discovers traps set on the edges of Korgi Hollow, including one that holds Art and his fluffy Korgi Wanda. After she helps them escape, her own wing is severed by a mysterious and dangerous creature. With the assistance of their friends Lump and Wart, who both keep a watchful eye over Korgi Hollow, Ivy and Korgi follow the creature to its lair, where they find all sorts of stolen collections, including the Mollies' severed wings. It's up to Ivy and Sprout to return what's been taken before they meet harm's way—while keeping away from the Creephog, an unfriendly spy. This book is appropriate for all age groups; older readers will appreciate all the plot twists, while younger readers will revel in the illustrations. Reviewer: Karen McCoy
