    A true western winner

From page one I could not put this novel down, and when I did, it left me thinking about it. Everything that I have read from this wonderful author has been great, and keeps on getting better. You will not be disappointed with this one, and I can't wait to read the next.
Magnolia puts you into the Texas sunrise and makes sure that you feel the heat of the day as a young man grows to be a warrior. And learns what it means to be caught in the middle of the white man's world and the Kiowa Indian's.
Without a hesitation I give this novel 5 stars.
