These 18 tracks are drawn from five CDs that this ensemble issued between 1997 and 2000. It's competent, well-rendered contemporary Mexican-American music with a traditional bent, nothing innovative or special. Give it credit where due, though: There's far more diversity on this disc than there is in many such albums by Mexican-American (or indeed, many American ethnic) bands.
