    Couldn't put it down

Surfing the Internet, and reading Scientology's carefully polished 'concerns' about 'intolerance' and 'anti-religious bigotry' - I could only laugh. Scientology's relentless sneakiness would be funny if it weren't so toxic. This book creatively combines topical and chronological - some chapters are really like long footnotes. Innovative and effective.

    A look inside

Into the strange, the bizarre the oddball world of L. Ron Hubbard and the Frankenstein¿s monster he created in Scientology. If you want a glimpse of Scientology without having to sell your spleen or get reprogrammed, this is the book for you.

    Ex-Scn

Since I am an Ex-Scn I had no trouble following the flow of the book. It has a lot of personal anecdotes and SCN history. I was on staff at Bent's mission in Riverside in the mid-1970s for about 2 years. (I left to return to U.C.R. to finish my major in math/computer-science. I never reinvolved myself in it. I hope that the young lady I got involved in this was able to leave and finish her major in statistics at U.C.R.) I do not doubt the veracity of its contents. I highly recommend this book!

    Review by ex-Scn

I worked for about two years at the Scn mission headed by Bent in Riverside in the 70s. His name on this book peaked my interest. Reading this book brought tears to my eyes. He gave me some answers where I had suspicions for years after I left. Being an ex-Scn I had no trouble understanding the contents or following the flow of the book. I hope that Bent and Mary are doing fine in the aftermath of reaping the whirlwind.
