Contro una prassi assai diffusa che vede circoscrivere l’analisi del materiale intertestuale al reperimento, a volte indubbiamente oneroso, dei molti intertesti che convergono nella scrittura narrativa e poetica dei nostri tempi, il presente volume intende dimostrare come l’approccio intertestuale si dimostri oltremodo fecondo nel disvelamento della rete di significati che ogni opera sottende. A partire da Nada (1944) di Carmen Laforet, sino a El viajero del siglo (2009) dello scrittore ispanoargentino Andrés Neuman, passando per Soledad Puértolas, Javier Marías e Alberto Méndez, gli autori che hanno collaborato al presente volume portano alla luce sapientemente i percorsi intertestuali di alcune opere significative della narrativa spagnola contemporanea.

Elisabetta Sarmati insegna letteratura spagnola presso la Sapienza Università di Roma. Ha pubblicato studi sulla narrativa cavalleresca e sulla poesia spagnola dei Secoli d’Oro, sui temi del riutilizzo dei codici retorici tradizionali nella poesia spagnola del Novecento e sul romanzo contemporaneo.

Simone Trecca insegna letteratura spagnola presso l’Università degli Studi Roma Tre. Ha pubblicato studi sul teatro spagnolo del Novecento e attuale, su intertestualità e riscrittura in testi drammatici e poetici moderni e contemporanei, sui rapporti tra letteratura, teatro, cinema e televisione.
