Scotty Smith is the founding pastor of Christ Community Church in Franklin, Tennessee. He is the author of several books including Speechless with Steven Curtis Chapman and Unveiled Hope with songwriter and musician Michael Card. He is a graduate of Westminster Seminary and is adjunct instructor of practical theology for Covenant Seminary in St. Louis.
Michael Card is a popular Christian songwriter, recording artist, and author. Anyone who is familiar with Card's music has relished his ability to weave a story with word and melody. Michael holds undergraduate and master's degrees in Biblical Studies from Western Kentucky University. He has penned some of Christian music's most cherished songs, including "El-Shaddai." He has released twenty recordings and has authored or coauthored nine books, including The Parable of Joy, Joy in the Journey, Unveiled Hope, and the bestseller A Violent Grace. Michael and his wife, Susan, have four children and live in Franklin, Tennessee.
