I read this book in 7 hours. Although after she stated that her belated ex-husband forced her to write things in the book...it was still good. I could still hear her voice. Now, it's up to the reader to decided what is fact and what is fiction. You should really watch family member interviews, especially LaToya's. There are some things in here that will make you go, "hmmm". Either way, if you're looking for entertainment, read this book. If you're looking for an authentic inside look...well, I guess you'll have to take what they say at face value. They only tell you what they want you to know. Aside from the negative, I loved reading about her early years and the family dynamic. It's a rollercoaster ride of emotions. I'd recommend this book, with the warning: don't believe everything you read. Make up your own mind with the many other FACTS that are out there.
