Syrjäisessä vuoristolaaksossa on kaksi erilaista kylää. Ne ovat eläneet keskenään rauhassa vuosisatojen ajan. Perheet ovat jakaneet keskenään yhteisiä iloja ja suruja, kunnes kylien välinen epäluulo valtaa alaa.
