This book is terrible. I'm constantly confused. It seems as though two people wrote this book instead of just one. ie. In the Lab part where you do your work it will tell you to go back to figure 3.21 examining minerals and you go back a few pages and there it is. Then you go down a few questions and it tells you to refer to 3.16 Luster in Quartz so you flip back to 3.16 but it's the wrong figure. So you look for the one it talks about. It's not like once or twice but 6-7 times in a lab. I wouldn't say this is absolutely terrible just a huge inconvenience when I have a lot of work to do. Still though, it's a college course and you have to have it so I guess you're gonna buy this book anyways.
