As Beautiful as the Country that Inspired It

Anne McCaffrey's audience has come to expect a high level of power and elegance that has become a standard in her writing, and this Ireland-inspired novel is no exception. The stark beauty of McCaffrey's voice is strong throughout every chapter, and it is clear that she is writing about what she knows and loves. Catriona is a character that will steal her way into the hardest of hearts and cling for years after the read. For a tale well-made, and an audience well provided for I say Cheers! to Anne!

wonderful book...can't hardly put it down

i have read a lot of books about horses and this is certainly one of the best ones i've read. plus there aren't that many horsey fiction books out there once people retire from The Black Stallion. if you love to read and you love horses this or even if you love a little romance then this book is for you.
