Meet the Author

I love to write and it feels like I've been doing it forever, making up stories in my head. Reading has always been my first love and I realized at an early age that a good story stays with you for a long time. Not so much the words but the sense of time and place. With so many worlds chasing through my head, I write a lot of genres; romance, suspense, young adult and urban fantasy.

I live in Australia with my partner, my children and a house full of animals.

    Enjoyed

Thoroughly enjoyed until the abrupt ending. No explicit sex scenes. Not sure I want to read any more from this author if all her books and novellas end like this one!

Really great entertaining book. The plot was different from any other regency books I've read. Well written as well. Was a little disappointed at abrupt ending. Wished it was a bit longer and had more romance scenes. Overall great read.

    Very Entertaining Short Story

Although this story comes out to 235 pages and to some might not be considered short, the way the story leaves you in the end is less than desirable and leaves you feeling bereft. Up until this point the story is very entertaining but the ending makes you feel like the author decided she had reached her quota on chapters and needed to finish the story at that minute. The epilogue did not really bring the story to a satisfying conclusion.

    Loved it!

Lucy and Rand's story was very entertaining. This 200+ page read showed us how two opposites attract....the plain wallflower and the rogue. After not noticing Lucy for 7 seasons on the ton, the suspicion that she may be the writer of the gossip rag in the paper that has exposed many inproprieties, including those of his own, forces Rand to seek the truth. In doing so, he gets to know Lucy. The wallflower blossoms and he sees how beautiful she is, inside and out. Great read!

    Worth it

Truely a good read. Some 236 pages, this story is refreshing and entertaining. I do wish the end had been a bit more detailed though.

Perfect for a Quiet Afternoon of Reading for Relaxation

Lucy Landon writes a twice weekly gossip column about the scandals of the ton so that she can earn money to escape the household of her less than loving mother. The Earl of Hamersley is featured in the column on two separate occasions, in short order, after Lucy twice spotted him carrying on with a young woman who is bethrothed to a duke. Shamed by his brother-in-law and confronted by the duke after the first column is published, the earl is determined to uncover the identity of the source of athe gossip -- a Lady who goes by the moniker Lady Libertine.
