Rich Regency Romance It's been years since I have read a Regency Romance and I'd forgotten how much I enjoy reading books set in that period.  It's especially enjoyable when the author writes with authority and rich, wonderful detail—details about the land and river and fly fishing were captivating.  Gabriel Gordon, the sixth Earl of Wylde, was a wonderful brooding and sexy hero!  I will definitely be reading the other Regency books by this author.

Short, fair story, romance with no sex.

Lady Lissa, a beautiful heiress has a problem too many suitors and no desire to wed. She decides a fake romance with the "Heartless Lord Wylnn" would scare off her suitors. But Gabriel isn't to be triffled with. Add a trout, a locket, a adorable little boy and a suitor who isn't going away and you get this enjoyable story.

This is great stand-alone story, and a great start to a series. The characters are more than one dimensional, and I liked that it wasn't overtly sexual. A good, sweet story.

The title of this book had me thinking it would be cheesy, but I was delightfully surprised. The story was engaging and different than most. The dialouge was lacking in some places and the author made some choices with her characters near the end that I would have written differently, but overall I would reccommend this read.

Of --believe it or not----fishing for trout---making your own flies --as well as a rogue who only wants Lissa for her money vs: another man AND his son who both truly love her!!!

I read a lot of Regency romances so I was happy to dee this selection for Mother's Day weekend. A little shorter than most, but that can be just as good as a longer book. Easy and quick weekend read--thanks B and N!

Too much fishing and not enough heaving bosoms, for my taste.
