Memorable characters, great story, fascinating protagonist. I enjoyed it very much.

I'm only half-way through the book, but I'm anxious to find out what happens next. The writer tends to scramble the words a bit, but I expect she was only keeping with the verbiage used at the time of the story setting, that being late 1600's. The characters are vibrant and at times, a little over the top, but that only makes for more intense reading! This will be a keeper in my growing stack of pleasure-reading books.

This book is written in the slightly stilted verbiage of the period, but it actually added to the interest of the story. I just started it yesterday and am half way through now. Enjoyable!
