My daughter loves this and the other ones too. This she likes a lot because she likes the beach too. I could see a difference in her courage at the beach having had this book read to her. I recommend this book because it is a great beach story with pictures kids and adults can both smile at.

For anyone who has ever been afraid of the ocean, this book is a fun and gentle look at being brave and finding courage. The artwork is just stunning and there are interesting details to look at on every page. Ladybug Girl and Bingo are a dynamic duo!

Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged. My almost 3 year-old sat through having this book read to her the very first time and has enjoyed it each time ever since. We enjoy looking at the wonderful illustrations that show ocean waves and wet sand so well. The font size changes dramatically to help me know when to emphasize something important and I like that each time the words "Ladybug Girl" are printed it is always in red to help her learn to associate the printed word with the name of the girl. It is written at a level that she can relate to and she can continue to grow with it as she learns some of the bigger words. I was so impressed with this book that I bought all the other books in this series.

It can be awe-inspiring or just awesome. Ladybug Girl finds this out first-hand in this latest book in the series. Give Lulu some applause for standing up against the unknown fearlessly. Wishing you all cool breezes and warm water, because this book just puts you in a good mood.
