    A Good Read

Loved the story. I enjoyed how the heroine just can't seem to make up her mind about getting married.

    definitely recommend

Three years ago someone set fire to Beaumont Keep, on the border of England and Scotland. That fire resulted in the deaths of the parent¿s and younger brother of Lady Rosalind Beaumont. At the urging of her father¿s young squire, who planned to wed Rosalind, she did not tell the king about the death of her brother, letting the country believe that he was the one in charge of the keep when in fact she has been the one watching over her people. Now, the Scots have arrived to claim the keep for their king, and Rosalind must help her people defend their home against the very people she believes killed her family. Malcolm McNair is enraged to nearly be hit by an arrow from a crossbow yielded by a WOMAN. When he comes face to face with that woman his anger quickly turns to intrigue and desire. Joanne Rock combines her sultry style with the gallantry of the medieval period to produce a story that will capture your heart and set your senses on fire. This story is about looking beyond the name, the accent and the flag of one¿s country into the very heart of the person. While I enjoy modern life and all of its conveniences, I have a sudden desire to find myself a time-machine and go looking for my own Scottish warrior. A definite RECOMMENDED READ.
