Terrific message wrapped up in a sweet story

I'll admit when I first read this book I was frustrated with the heroine. She was stubborn and prideful to a fault--which of course was the point. But by the end of the story I was totally sold on her transformation and her romantic relationship with Kavan.

This is a sweet story where the characters--especially the heroine--grow and change in a satisfying way. Well written, Lambert's Pride is a fun read with a great message about pride and trying to hang on to control, instead of turning burdens over to God. Nicely done!

    A Good Read

A sweet romance with engaging characters who live in a Mitford kind of New Hampshire town. Elizabeth is determined to go to grad school. She doesn't plan on falling in love, but when a handsome Ranger, Kavan, captures her heart, she has to choose love. Elizabeth and Kavan get good advice about love and relationships from the Lambert patriarch, Matt Lambert. The story has a little bit of mystery with missing money on Kavan's expense account, and the tale of buying Elizabeth an engagement ring is fun and inventive. A well told story.'
