Reviewer: Rochell Olive-Harmon, MS (Froedtert Hospital) Description: This concise review encompasses current physical principles and clinical applications of radiology. The previous edition was published in 2011. Purpose: "It is specifically intended to prepare radiology students for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) examination. This review is an essential tool in helping radiology students recollect two years of study. " Audience: Radiology students and those re-entering the field are the intended audience. This book is a wonderful help in easing the precertification or recertification examination jitters. Features: It thoroughly reviews all five subjects covered on the ARRT examination. The detailed explanations and references are wonderful in explaining the correct answer for each question. The multiple choice questions help assess students' mastery of knowledge in all five areas. The CD is a nice addition that will target new learners. The shortcoming is that for these learners, the answers and explanations aren't provided with a "click". Assessment: "This examination book is easy to understand, thorough, and detailed. It is one book that should be in every radiology student's library. Updates in the field and to the examination justify the new edition. "
