What do you think? When Carrie goes to the bathroom, did she really know what she was doing when she took the WHOLE bottle,or was it an act driven my her current mental condition? I think she was crazy, and didn't reallize she was taking the whole bottle.

This was an outstanding book. I think that it is a great book for kids because it shows what's right to do!

When I, too, was thirteen, reading this novel made me feel like I was not so alone as I had thought. When I felt like I couldn't identify with anyone my age, I could identify with Carrie. I really enjoyed the ending. So many books documenting teenagers' problems end so pessimistically, but this book gave me hope. I will read it again and again as I grow older. Superb writing and real characters. Good for teenagers and adults alike.
