Larry's Way:Another Look at Alzheimer's from the Inside

I just read the best book on Alzheimer's ever. I believe I have read them all. An Alzheimer's patient has writen this great book, 'Larry's Way'. This is Larry's second book on the subject. 'Show me the way to ho home' was the first. His first attempt, written a number of years ago, has reached wide acclaim, with hundreds of thousands of copies in print in several languages. I predict another best seller here. 'Larry's Way' while being narrative, is prescriptive as well. I did notice a number of errors in typing and punctuation. I don't blame Larry for this. I suspect it was done by whoever edited this book or in the alternative, the Alzheimer's disease itself. The epilog could have been left out, in my view, but it also shows the reader what can happen to a mentally impaired person by someone with no moral scruples at all. Don't let these little things distract you while reading this GREAT Book. It was written by a man who is fighting the good fight with the grace and humor of the truly brave. READ THIS ONE! You will be glad you did. Keep on writting Larry and Thanks. Vic M. Phd

Larry's Way:Another Look at Alzheimer's from the Inside

This book, Larry's second, offers a unique reflection of the rate of progression of Alzheimer's Disease in this very special individual. Compared to his first book, 'Show me the way to go home', this reader come away with a roller coaster sensation of haunting feelings. This writer was sometimes angry, often frustrated, occasionally acerbic and at times morbid, but always a sense of serenity is pervasive to reassure us that this dreaded Alzheimer's is not going to take away one thing that Larry values most, his dignity. It is unusual for Alzheimer's patients to write well if at all; loosing the ability to register and recall recent memory makes Larry Rose the ultimate existentialist whose writing should be read by all who are involved in the care of victims of Alzheimer's disease.....................
