    The Birth of Cuban Cool

''las calles del paraiso'' is the birth of a new sound and a new concept in Cuban music. Lyrical, gorgeous songs that transport the listener to an inner world; amazing musicianship, from Formell's innovative guitar to the intense but cool drumming and surprising pedal steel -- this is unique and irrestisible music that re-defines Cuban sound. Juan-Carlos Formell is the Moby+Dave Matthews of Cuba.
