Overview

MAL a total drama fanfic ch. 5

    Mike's Pov
My heart was beating harder then I had ever thought possible. There were two reasons of this occurance. One was that I had just rand halfway across the island. The other was I was dreading the time when the moon returned to normal. I wished it could stay that way forever, big and blue, making everything their opposites. As long as it was blue, my friends were safe. I glanced up at it paranoid.
"Mike, you ok?" Cameron's voice was concerned.
"yeah, just...um...wondering when the moon will turn normal again."
He grinned, "according to my calculations, the moon will change back in exactly five minutes and forty three seconds."
My eyes widened in alarm and my heart skipped a beat, "are you sure?"
"Of course, my brain never fails me. That and all my years reading books and srudying the world outside."
I looked at him, "Cameron, I need you to run, now. Try o get to the finish line. I'll be behind you, but we need to get some distance," I looked around nervously, only five minutes left.
He took a step away, "Mike? Why-"
"Just go!" Shocked, he nodded and sprinted away. I forced myself to stand in place for two minutes before following me. An imaginary clock ticked as the time grew closer. With luck I could reach the finish line before Mal took over, then he couldn't throw the challenge.
"Hey! Watch it!"
Startled, I realized that I had just ran into the person I had been trying to avoid for her own safety, Zoey. I laughed nervously, "sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going..."
She blushed, "Neither was I, where did you disappear to?"
I looked at the moon nervously, I had about two minutes, "I ran into Duncan, and then I had to, um, talk to Cam."
She raised an eyebrow, "So where is he now?"
"Cam? I don't know," it wasn't completely a lie, "I blacked out, I think Vito or Manitoba took over or something."
She didn't look convinced, "wouldn't he have stayed with you? He' a pretty loyal friend."
"Maybe we ran into Sierra and she, um, carried him away. She is crazy."
Zoey nodded, "true-" she broke off with a gasp, "look!"
I followed her gaze to find that the moon was no longer blue. Fear clenched in my stomach an I fell away to darkness.
Mal's Pov
Finally, control again. I smirked, the challenge must be close to over. The girl, Zoey, hovered over me.
"Mike?"
I coughed and quickly checked my hair, "yeah, I think I fainted or something, but I'm ok now. C'mon, we have to win the challenge!"
"Ok-" she was interrupted by a crackle of the loudspeaker, "The Vultures win again!"
I turned away from Zoey and let my hair fall, another piece just fell into place.
Plz read, rate, review, and give me ideas. Next ch. Next result :)

    Diana

I just realized something. Mal means 'bad' or 'evil' in Spanish. That keeps making me think of Alejandro. My mom's from Guatemala so I know stuff like that. You're a very good writer! Keep writing!
