    This book makes it easy!

I was sceptical about this book from it's cover. But the old saying is very true! never judge a book by it's cover. Gordon Mcomb writes a very entertaining but yet informal book that tells a little history behind the laser and shows the reader step-by-step how to make your own Laser, workbench, and other things that are very interesting to learn about. When I first started reading this book I was a little lost with the exsplanation of nano-meters and wave-lengths, but the more I read the more I understood what he was talking about. If you like fiddling with things and like to see what makes them tic, This book will keep you bussy for hours. It is a great way to get started in the field of lasers. This book covers and exsplains, Lasers, how to work with lasers, experimenting with light and optics.how to build a Helium-Neon laser, construckting a optical bench, introduction to semiconductor lasers, laser power supplies, and Holography. along with tips, tricks and exsperiments that will keep you bussy for hours. this book covers everything a beginner needs to know about lasers. Have a great read!
