Now it's up to Lisel to set things right, even though it means tangling with a man she has every reason to despise.
Scarred and without a woman for more years than he cares to count, Brent Laskin insists on marriage as the only way Lisel can pay off the debt her brother owes. Lisel tells him no, but he refuses to take no for an answer. The trouble is, he might just have to.
One thing is certain: Lisel is more than a match for Brent. She is a woman with a past . . . and with a mind of her own.
Laskin's Bluff is wonderful and I don't even like romances, lol! But Tessa's characters are so real and the plot so exciting that it just grabs you and you can't stop reading. Not to mention the parts that are just laugh out loud funny. Ask me...I was reading it at 2:30 am because I simply couldn't stop before the end. Yes, Tessa, it's all your fault that I've been dragging around like a zombie today, lol!

I bet you didn't know Tessa could write *hot* (but tasteful) sex scenes, did ya? Wicked...
I loved loved loved your book! I'll be buying another copy for my mom later today. It was a fast read, with a well thought out original plot. I'm now in the process of reccing your book to everyone I know!

Meet the Author
Tessa Harte got her start writing popular fantasy fanfiction, but romance has always been her first love. Tessa lives in a small Western town not unlike the fictional setting of Dawson portrayed in Laskin's Bluff. When she's not at her keyboard writing up a storm, she amuses herself making original jewelry creations and tending her flower garden.
