Overview

Sean Porter, a defense attorney, awakes from a coma to find himself living a life he barely recognizes. Fifteen years later, when he crosses paths with the hauntingly beautiful deputy District Attorney Kimani, aka Kiki Turner, Porter is forced to face the past.

A murder from 15 years ago has been forgotten. Although the victim was quieted, truth shouts out, proving that words heard from the grave are louder than those spoken by those taking life for granted. Why does Kimani remind Sean of the past? Is it dj vu? Kiki once trusted Sean with her heart and he let her down. But now she must trust him again with so much more. Will it cost her, her dying breath?

I just picked up the book and found it to be a great read. The relationship between Sean and Kiki was very romantic and passionate. There is nothing like finally meeting your dream guy and realizing he loves you too. The background plot was interesting and kept me interested too but I enjoyed the romance the best.

This book held my attention and it was hard for me to put down. I read the book in less than two days and that's unusual for me. I now want to read other books by this author.

I bought this book because the author was at the store signing. I wished I had not wasted my time.
