Overview

Eminence Dutton is at a crossroad. At work, she's up for a promotion that's she's not sure she can do. Her love life with her librarian has hit a wall. She gets an invitation from her former best friend to a new night club opening. Each decision has her shaking in her sensible shoes. The only thing that would complicate her life more would be to see her old high school boyfriend.

Keys "Tank" Tanksley can't believe it when he sees Eminence standing in line at Epitome. He takes that moment and his temporary bit of power as the security company owner to give her a very thorough and intimate search that brings up old, familiar feelings-feelings he never stopped having for Eminence but that she must have abandoned a long time ago.

Tank has changed, most notably, his foray into BDSM. No longer an unsure high school boy, this man does not plan on letting this woman go without being heard or without her experiencing the sting of his whip.

When Tank tries to rekindle the relationship with Eminence, one where he asks her to make a huge change, she has to wonder what's important: her dream or her heart.

Meet the Author

Born into a loud family of five kids all fighting to be heard, I decided to make myself more noticeable through writing.

My passion for writing sensual, titillating scenes stemmed from my mother who always told me to follow my heart.

I now live on the east coast with my dreams, my close friends and wonderful characters who keep me up at night...and hopefully will do the same to you all, too!

A great story about old loves hooking back up Eminence Dutton

A great story about old loves hooking back up

Eminence Dutton accepts an invitation to a new night club opening up called Epitome, but what she doesn’t know is the club is owned by her former best friend and former high school boyfriend who does the security for the club.

Keys “Tank” Tanksley is still in love with Eminence since they broke up in high school. A misunderstanding caused the break up. Jordyna Hampton was Eminence’s best friend back in school. Jordyna is hoping that she and Eminence can patch things up.

After seeing and being with Keys, Eminence’s sensible world gets complicated since she neglects to tell Keys she has a boyfriend. Keys just wants one night with her and then they can go their separated ways, but it doesn’t go as plan. They both realized that they still have feeling for each other. And Eminence still thinks that Keys and Jordyna slept together. When everything finally comes to light, it is Eminence who is seen in a bad light. She realizes that everyone, but her, has their life straight and she has to stop running and face her fears from long ago.

Bridget Midway penned a great story about old loves hooking back up. This pulled me in from the beginning to the end. I read it in one night, that’s how good it was. The sex scenes between Eminence and Keys are very hot, but I was a little disappointed when I didn’t find any BDSM elements in the story.

Last Call is an enjoyable read and I would recommend it to anyone.
