Meet the Author

Prof. Sándor lsg Márai holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religion & Spanish from Andrews University, a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Western Michigan University and a Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University School of Law. In 2008, he was recognized by Western Michigan University as a Distinguished Alumnus. In 2010, he was awarded the General Division Mediation award by the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas in Ohio. In 2004, he was recognized with a National Institute for Staff & Organizational Development award for teaching, a 2004 Award for Faculty Excellence in Teaching by the Southwestern Ohio Council for Higher Education, and featured in Ohio Magazine for Excellence in Education.

Currently, Prof. Márai is a tenured Professor of Philosophy, Religion & Humanities; an attorney, mediator, author and poet. He enjoys writing novels, novellas and poetry. His professional experience also includes: former chairperson of a multidiscipline academic department, former Air Force Judge Advocate (JAG) officer and captain, Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist, Fair Housing & Predatory Lending Specialist, former minister and phlebotomist.
