Teen angst is the subject of Superchick's second opus entitled Last One Picked. As the name suggests, the members of the band are singing directly to those who were the last ones picked in the cruelty of high school. Leading off the disc is the cut "Highschool." Here, the band delves into a straightforward rock vibe to blare out the injustices of the high school mentality. "So Bright Stand Up" is a cut with personality. The tune saunters into No Doubt territory with staccato rhythms, and D.J. nuances. "Hero" is a cut that mixes drum loops together with a chunky guitar to form an anthemic masterpiece. Last One Picked is an absolutely stunning conglomeration of tunes. Finally, a disc for the teen generation that expresses positivity, no sexual connotations, and a truckload of inspiration that will totally get you on your feet.

    Awesome

This cd is a really great alternative to all of the junk out in the rest of the world. I totally recommend it for anyone who feels unloved or is an outcast in anyway. This so is so much fun just to rock out with.

i love the way they start out the cd with a song about high school. that song is really cool because that's how i feel about school sometimes. Kewl Band!

When I first heard Superchick, I was surprised and happy because they sing about IMPORTANT things like being yourself. They're a great Christian example to my little sisters, so I don't have to worry about bad language or inappropiate lyrics!

    Wow!!!

If you want honesty and fun in your music you will love this CD. If you are super religious or not even close you will still find it hard not to dance and sing to great songs like "Stand Up(So Bright)". May they live long and prosper. Get it Now!!!

    Superchic(k) is easy to understand

Superchic(k) has always been the best girl garage band (not to mention a Christian one) and it seems with this album released they improve tremendously by taking an enourmously huge step that no other Christian band has ever taken...by being motivational as well as clear with all of their messages which makes for a CD so motivational that it makes you want to get up and do something with that motivation. Here's a little proof. It took one time to listen to the song "Hero" before I realized that it was talking about being a role model, it took me a month and a half to figure out that P.O.D. was vaguely talking about God watching over us in the song "Satellite".
