I felt as if the main character, Mandy, was sitting in my living room, telling me her story. The author's writing style is such that the reader feels an immediate connection with the main character. I was rooting for her throughout the whole story. I especially appreciated the ending, in which all the questions and loose ends are resolved, and the reader knows that Mandy is going to be okay. I am anxious for the author's next book!

I am not a reader. You have to make me sit down and read a book. I attended the authors book reading at The Harnett County Lilbrary in Lillington, NC and she read just enough to get me hooked. I couldn't wait to get home and finish. This book had my attention the whole time. My husband laughed because I was so tired, but was determined to stay up and finish the book. I strongly recommend this book!!
