Overview

A photographer rescues a man from a deep roadside gully in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York. When the man wakes up in the hospital, however, he can't remember his name or how he nearly escaped death. As he recovers physically, Logan Gifford realizes that someone wanted him dead. However, with no memory and few resources, his chances of survival when his enemies find out that he's still alive are slim.

About the Author

Before taking up writing novels, Peter G. Pollak was a journalist, educator and entrepreneur. Last Stop on Desolation Ridge is his third novel. The Expendable Man (2011) is a political thriller set in the US and Turkmenistan. Making the Grade (2012) is a police procedural, starting rookie detective Shannon Lynch. It takes place in Albany, NY where Pollak lived for 40 years.
