Overview

This three-disc collection features lounge-appropriate Latin-influenced electronica from various (and not very well-known) artists on the low-budget label Bar de Lune. Latin Cafe is not very extraordinary, but that's not saying that the music included within is bad, because it's not -- there's just nothing here that will really blow anyone away. Still, the tracks from artists like the Parisien Collective, Elvira Pinioliz, and Orchestra PM are good, warm yet still sophisticated, so while Latin Cafe might not rank up there with the best of what the genre can offer, it still holds its own, especially for the price. ~ Marisa Brown
