    Very Infromative

This book broke down Latin making it easy and understandable. With their practice exercises, it made it much more worthwhile learning it because you actually got to pratcice it instead of being taught.

    not worth the money

i was a latin IV graduate and i also have had this book for around 4years now and what i can tell you is that this book has errors in it and gives some wrong impressions about the grammar. the book doesn't take into account that Latin is one of those ancient languages that depended on if a vowel is long or short. the book doesn't tell you if the vowel is long or short, it just skips it making so many words look like different grammatical things. it's ok for an expert or 3rd year students, but it's confusing for a student who is learning basic latin from this book. save your money and buy another book. if you really have money to burn, i'd get those oxford or cambridge courses (i took the cambridge ones, i rate it 4stars).
