Universal Music offers this budget-priced compilation of number one hits covering the calendar year of 2012. Various styles are represented, but the names are all familiar ones. Juanes is here with "La Señal"; so too Wisin & Yandel with their bass-bombing "Follow the Leader." Gloria Trevi's top-slot namesake dance jam "Gloria" is present, as is the live version of Marc Antonio Solis' "Y Ahora Te Vas." The 12-track album closes on a bittersweet note with the late Jenni Rivera's "Basta Ya." While this album obviously doesn't get to all the number ones from 2012, it offers a fine representative sampling.
